Jump!

Thank you dear readers for your birthday wishes. My Photoshop Elements guidebook arrived today. But seeing as it's Flying Pig weekend and we had some things to do this evening, I haven't had much time to learn anything. I did manage this picture though: I know it's a little grainy and I don't know how to fix that...yet. But I love the reverse black and white effect. If you remember from way back in this post, Eric's work gets the St. Nicholas suite of rooms at the Hilton downtown every year for the Flying Pig. Cate was so little that year, that I didn't end up staying with Eric (family is allowed to stay). Last year I was sick, so I didn't stay either. But this year I get to stay with Eric tomorrow night while Cate goes to stay at her grandparents. We could have stayed tonight too, but I didn't really want to pack us up, unpack Cate tomorrow, and then re-pack her. We did hang out there for a bit tonight though after we stopped by a VIP party (sounds so fancy huh?). Pictures of that to come later (when I can make them look awesome-er). So for now, enjoy Miss Cate, jumping on the bed!
