Cate and the Sea-Green Sidewalk Chalk

You know the story of Harold and the Purple Crayon? The classic childhood tale where Harold, armed with his purple crayon, draws himself an adventure?

Well, this is not that story. This is the story of Cate and the Sea-Green Sidewalk Chalk.
For some reason yesterday, she just latched onto that one piece (out of the 50 or so pieces we have). She carried it around with her for a good 20 minutes.
And she drew her own adventure with lines all over the patio...
...and even a little on the back deck steps (not sure how long that will take to fade since the steps are sheltered by a tree and don't get that wet in the rain).

Just catching up on your posts after being in NY. We DID walk in Central Park for you - many times!

Great photos, as always. I am sorry to hear about Cate's fall. It happens. At least she didn't lose a tooth!

It looks like her hair is growing a lot this summer!
