While I waxed nostalgic to the creepy sounds record we inherited from my parents (which they played through the cracked open windows every Halloween...well, until they passed it onto us this year).
Cate and Daddy made it to about a dozen houses. Apparently Cate tried to go into a few people's homes, tried to give her candy away at some other homes, and at a few houses tried to make off with the whole bowl. That's my girl. She came home with an Elmo bucket full of goldfish crackers (genius idea whoever gave those little packs out), fruit snacks, pretzels, and of course, candy.
We let her take a few bites as she helped us pass out candy to trick or treaters. She also ran herself ragged in the yard. Eventually, she ended up like this on the porch:
Thankfully the midwest has this great thing called Daylight Savings Time, which ended yesterday so we ended up with an extra hour of sleep last night. Although as the sun was setting at 6:00 this evening, I began to wonder if that extra hour was worth it.

Loved all the Trick or Treat photos. I posted a little "Aunt B Poetry" on my blog for "What I Create for Cate." Hugs to all and see you soon. Stay well. Love Aunt B and 3.
