Daddy and the girls. . . and Granny

So, Last night, the fam decided to go to the Festival of lights at the Cincinnati Zoo with our zoo passes. We are always learning about when not to visit the zoo, and a weekend in December definitely qualifies. We waited in traffic just to get into the parking lot for over 45 minutes. However, we decided to make the best of it. We invited Mel's granny along, and made a quick tour of some of the lights and festivities. The nativity scene was nice. Some goats and sheep huddled together for warmth, probably much like that historic night over 2000 years ago.

Cate was bundled all warm, but wanted to keep one hand out for safekeeping.

We all got to pose with frosty noses.

All in all, it was a great evening. We had some coffee and roasted almonds to top off the evening. Now the whole fam is feeling a little under the weather and is taking the chance to get rested and ready for the new week.

Many blessings to you all. Happy Holidays from Papa E and his girls!
