First Christmas Part One

Last night we celebrated Christmas at Eric's parents' house. After dinner, Cate got down to business opening some presents. Now we need to take down our Christmas tree to free up a play-area in the living room and we really need to get going on that basement playspace we've been talking about creating.
Cate took a break from the toys long enough to pose with Aunt Kristin.
But really she just wanted everything out to play with.


Tomorrow we head off to my parents' house to celebrate some more. We picked up our rental car today. The Enterprise people gave us a good deal on a larger car since we had just put a roof rack on our Caliber the weekend before we got hit in anticipation of our Christmas travels. The insurance adjuster is heading out to the body shop today to do the estimate and I'm hoping the car will be done sometime next week so that I don't have to rent a car once school starts back up.

Merry almost Christmas! My baby is almost up from another one of her marathon naps and I can't wait to play with her new toys with her. :-)
